SUMMARY
The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for coordination and support of marketing promotions while overseeing daily execution of these events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Marketing team to develop, implement, plan and execute casino promotions, entertainment, and events.
- Assist Marketing team by using player tracking system to program or update specific parameters of promotions.
- Provide guest feedback to Marketing team about the effectiveness of promotions and Marketing programs.
- Responsible for greeting and assisting guests and answering inquiries relating to casino-sponsored promotions and events.
- Issue cards and explain program to all new club members.
- Promote new club membership on the casino floor.
- Provide comprehensive event and promotion information to guests.
- Promote effective teamwork and communication with supervisors while solving guest complaints.
- Activate guest offers and award promotional prizes utilizing the player tracking system.
- Develop promotional scripts and other announcements for staff to promote Marketing programs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work the required work schedule and be flexible to change shifts as needed. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Works physically onsite to oversee promotions and interact personally with guests.
- Works with Marketing vendors to assist in the purchasing of promotional items for Marketing and other departments as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to utilize available resources to reward high-end players.
- Keeps work area in a neat and orderly appearance.
- Works as a team with other departments and communicates clearly to solve guest concerns.
- Works the required work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays and is flexible in covering shifts as necessary for call outs or other issues. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with Team Members and guests. Maintains an excellent attendance record.
- Ensures all safety standards are met, and possible safety hazards are quickly resolved.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or GED required with an Associated Degree or higher preferred. Guest service experience required. Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills including the ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to guests and team members. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to emcee promotional events in a professional and respectful manner.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure including whole numbers.. Must be able to define a problem, collect data, and draw conclusions based on that data.
- Must be computer-literate with experience in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use various software.
- Experience with casino players club systems preferred.
- Must have and maintain valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Must be able to maintain the appropriate Gaming License.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others.
- Requires the manual dexterity to handle players cards, identifications and operate a computer and calculator.
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. Using hands, grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Continuously required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
- Must be able to work in areas with high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to respond to visual cues.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This casino has an enclosed gaming area where smoking is allowed. Team members may be exposed to a smoking environment in or around this designated smoking area.
