Summary: Plans, manages, and provides leadership to assigned Plants and other operations, including dispatch within a given region of the organization; guiding the safe and efficient use of labor and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers company policies and provides direction for assigned Plant.
• Maintains effective relationships, with all employees, customers, and internal staff.
• Manages equipment utilization targets prior to the scheduled day and ensures communication with assigned plant and customers to ensure targets can be attained.
• Ensures dispatch computer work is entered in the Command System in a real time environment.
• Advises Operations/Field Support Services on labor issues including, safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, and the like.
• Works with Management to ensure employees are adhering to company policies and administering practices in a fair and equitable manner.
• Demonstrates effective delegation and leadership skills.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: 7 years of progressive, in-depth management experience in ready-mix industry.

Knowledge (technical/practical/managerial):

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high profile and fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform computer function in a real time environment.
• Ability to objectively coach employees through performance issues and make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
