This position will be responsible for ensuring that each homeowner’s experience, during their warranty period, meets or exceeds an industry leading experience. The service manager will efficiently and effectively review, schedule, complete, manage, and resolve warranty and courtesy services. The Service Manager also will act as an advocate for our homeowners and will represent Pratt Home Builders with the highest level of integrity, character, professionalism, courtesy, and ethics.
Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of the customer experience, communication, and expectations from closing through the warranty period.
- Establishes the proper expectations with every customer by communicating throughout the process.
- Manages the scheduling and timely completion of warranty requests for every customer and strives to complete all work in one day.
- Documents and tracks all customer services through completion.
- Schedules, monitors, and manages vendors for responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of work performed.
- Ensures that quality standards are being met on all warranty repairs.
- Ensures that root causes of issues are being identified and reported.
- Practices financial responsibility at all times when dealing with Trade Partners and warranty repairs.
- Performs other duties as needed or required.
- Ability to perform minor repairs when necessary (drywall/paint/trim/doors, etc…)
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Construction Management or related field or applicable work experience preferred
- 2-4 years of residential construction experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work some nights and weekends by phone.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
