TITLE: Finance-Consultant

SUPERVISOR: CFO

CATEGORY: Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: Extremely motivated and results-driven financial professional with exceptional leadership skills, Prepare Financial Statements, Account Analysis, Adjustments from GL accounts, Audit Work paper preparation for audit. GAAP experience standards and Lease Capitalization rules and methods ASC 842. Demonstrates ability to proactively work independently and within a team environment to resolve problems.

DUTIES:

Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, monthly journal entries- All Financial Statements

• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying allocating, posting reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Preparation of all Financial Statements – quarterly and annual-to Investors and Auditors
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information, preparing financial Statements and other statements, for funders quarterly and Annual working with Auditors
• Preparation of all schedules, Depreciation Fixed Assets, Prepaid Insurance, Deferred Interest, Leasing –ASC 842
• Review monthly bank reconciliations make necessary entries.
• Make all necessary journal entries, monthly, quarterly and annually
• Auditing, reconciling and verifying documents for accuracy
• Making all Accrued Expense- payroll, utilities, audit etc.
• Reconciliation from ADP quarterly reports to Salary with gross wages
• Responsible for compiling all work paper for annual audits to auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. CPA

Experience: Minimum 5-8 years Non-for-profit accounting a plus

Skills – Accounting Sage 50 , Excel, strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work independently handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines.
