PRAXM Management is Hiring a HR Specialist Near Carmel, IN

Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Carmel, IN. The HR Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the talent acquisition and recruitment process, organizing training and development initiatives, and maintaining records of personnel-related data.

Below is a listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time, with or without notice. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support in the talent acquisition and recruitment process.
  • Assist in organizing training and development initiatives.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data to ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, including employee engagement efforts.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Assist with annual employee performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources position
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems; Paylocity will be a plus
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • SHRM certification is a plus

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs, sitting or stand for long periods of time & occasionally lift up to 25lbs
