Looking for Kind, Patient and loving individual to leads and partners with Ga Pre K program. Qualified teacher will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education. You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. Teachers must have great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.

We are looking for a qualified individual to fill our open GA Pre-K Lead Teacher position for the 2024-2025 school year. The Applicant must have T4 or T5 GA Teaching Certificate. Salary will be based on certification. Please submit your resume if you have an interest.

Experience in Georgia Pre-K is must. Hourly Pay varies depending on experience and degree level.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.
• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for children according to GELDS.
• Prepare lesson plans and instruct children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Plans and conducts parent conferences; provides daily written feedback to parents as appropriate.
• Partners with Center Director and/or Owner on any parent follow-up and communication.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information on children and their families.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Kids Galaxy Learning curriculum and programming
• Assists in other capacities that Director/Management/determines necessary

Requirements

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
• Teaching certificate required.
• Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Lead Georgia Pre K Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Patient, loving, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
