Summary: The Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up and transporting components and materials safely to specific locations. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Carries an active Class A license in the State of Utah.
• Makes deliveries utilizing a Class A vehicle and 52’ flatbed trailer.
• Unloads materials utilizing a Piggyback type of trailer mounted lift.
• Ensures all materials picked up from factory are documented on delivery tickets and delivered to jobsites.
• All deliveries are documented per policy, photos of delivered materials are properly captured and uploaded to BisTrack.
• Ensures proper storage, transportation and handling of all materials in order to protect from damage.
• Follows all traffic laws and safety requirements.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all DOT regulations.
• Securement of loads.
• Following all state guidelines and protocols are followed.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
• Valid CLASS A commercial driver’s license with no restrictions with a clean MVR
• Current medical card
• Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work.
• Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Communicates effectively with team members.
• Minimum 12 consecutive months within the last 36 months of current and verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• Drivers with less that twelve months but more than 6 consecutive months (from the date of application) of current and verifiable oversized and/or mobile home hauling experience may be considered
