Description

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi-Modality MRI/CT Technologist for a PRN (as needed) position at our Jacksonville Beach Center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both MRI and CT imaging, providing high-quality diagnostic services in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision and care.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent patient care and support, addressing any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in MRI and CT.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI and CT imaging.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of imaging equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

• PRN (as needed) position with flexible hours.

Physical and Working Requirements of the Position 

Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.

 Competencies 

• Knowledge of MRI physics.
• The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in their duties.
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.

 Preferred Qualifications 

• ACLS Certification. 
• Proficiency with PACS and Radiology Information Systems.
