Precision Strategies is now accepting applications for Mobilization and Campaign Management interns to join our team in our Washington, D.C. office this fall. This is a paid internship, and undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students are eligible to apply. Fall internships will start in August/September and run through December 2024 though dates are flexible. We ask that interns be able to commit at least 25 hours a week.
Our team developed their expertise working on winning political campaigns, but we realized the same techniques used to elect Democrats can be used to help solve a variety of problems, not just limited to politics. As a team, we work across political and corporate spaces to build campaigns, moving people into action. Our staff works closely with our interns, exposing them to high-level work for a broad spectrum of clientele. Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to conducting research, contributing to campaign work, and supporting clients.
What You Will Be Doing

• Providing support to our team on a variety of corporate, nonprofit, and political clients.
• Monitoring the current political environment including tracking news, legislation, campaign financing, media spend, and more.
• Providing administrative support for client meetings, business development, and other projects, as needed.
• Helping to brainstorm and draft a variety of content and collateral.
• Conducting research for our client work and to support business development.
• Learning about organizing campaigns and overall agency life.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated interest in politics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail.
• The ability to work collaboratively on a team.
• Creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

This position is for our DC office location. Due to the pandemic, we required all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 10 days each month.
