```Duties```

-Must have a bachelors or masters degree in chemistry, biology, or other related scientific discipline.

- Perform PCR Molecular Pathology testing for an OBGYN office. This job is only Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the evening from 5pm-midnigt or 6pm-midnigbt or whenever work is complete with an occasional Wed or Thurs for ordering supplies and cleaning of all machines and labs.

- Must be able to or understand validation and LOD processes for our Thermo Fisher Quant Studio 5. Must be proficient with LIS SW systems. Inputting data from demographic sheet into our LIS SW system.

- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines
- Collect, prepare, and analyze PCR specimens
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all laboratory processes and results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including inventory management and ordering of supplies needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Log, record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care

-Be able to communicate with our Lab Director with any questions or concerns that arise as well as be able to pass all CLIA and COLA inspections

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques specifically PCR
- Experience with aseptic technique and handling of hazardous materials
- Ability to work in various laboratory settings such as research or clinical laboratories
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals
