Job Description
Machining parts using CNC Mills and Lathes. Setting up tooling and verifying programs.
Job Requirements
- Loading & unloading parts from CNC Mills & Lathes.
- Downloading programs to the machines.
- Verifying programs are to print.
- Checking parts for conformance to quantities, print dimensions and material specifications.
- Clean up parts (remove dross/scale) using bench grinders & sanders.
- Complete paperwork, including Inspection Sheets.
- Boxing/packaging parts and verifying counts before shipping.
- Operating a forklift and cranes.
Requirements
- Ability to stand 2-3 hr. increments. This position requires the operator to stand while running the machine. Breaks are given throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. If a part weighs more than 30 lbs. cranes and/or boons are used to move.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Ability to use calipers/micrometers.
Starting $16.00 - $21.00 depending on experience.
1st Shift: 6:00am-4:30 pm Monday-Thursday
2nd Shift 8:00 pm - 6:30 am Monday-Thursday ( $2.00 /hr. shift differential)
