Precision Products Group is Hiring a Payroll/HR Administrator Near Apple Creek, OH
Position Overview: The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including administering pay, benefits, onboarding, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Essential Job Functions
Primarily responsible for processing payroll and maintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay
Ensure wages & tax withholdings comply with regulations
Enter new employees' data (e.g bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases)
Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions
Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Organizing and maintaining personnel records
updating internal HR databases
Preparing HR documents
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
Reconciles benefit statements
Assists with processing of terminations
Skills/Qualifications
Has knowledge of basic labor laws
Knowledge of best practices in HR and Payroll
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
Experience/Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Experience with processing payroll (Paycor experience a plus)
