CORPORATE & PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

Direct Hire role with our client located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Work Environment: On-Site (This position is on-site, 5 days per week, 8AM – 5PM)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for reviewing financial transactions and creating/posting journal entries, and reconciling G/L accounts
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal audit and external audit requirements
• Complete the month end and year end close processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis for each project
• Develop internal policies and procedures to assist with effective and efficient processes, in support of process improvement initiatives and evolution of standard operating procedures
• Other special projects and duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3 years of public or private accounting experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Entrepreneurial minded with ability to adapt and shift priorities in a fast growing company environment
• Effective communication skills and strong computer proficiency with at least intermediate Excel skills
