SENIOR IT AUDITOR

Direct hire role with our client in Pittsburgh, PA

Workplace type: Hybrid (on-site, in Pittsburgh, 2 days/week) The company is not offering relocation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs internal IT audits, managing project milestones and deadlines
• Communicates audit requirements with stakeholders, and maintains focus on critical risk areas
• Identifies potential risks and provides risk mitigation recommendations
• Performs audit follow-up procedures
• Develops and implements efficient internal audit tools
• Applies and maintains knowledge of auditing and IT best practices as well as stay up to date on the market and regulatory trends
• Ensures compliance with applicable policies
• Provides support for external auditors
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, required
• Current certifications (CISA, CIA, CPA), preferred
• 3 years of experience in auditing, IT focus preferred
• Experience with risk-based audit approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, flowcharting preferred
• Ability to prioritize effectively, and manage projects with competing deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently on various project
• Effective communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to build effective working relationships
