Job Title: ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB Specialist. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of IT service management processes, supporting our organizational goals with robust data governance and integration practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement the ServiceNow CSDM framework aligned with organizational objectives.
- Customize the CMDB to accurately depict configuration items (CIs) and their interrelationships.
- Establish and maintain data governance processes to uphold CSDM and CMDB data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and map data requirements to CSDM and CMDB.
- Define CI classes, attributes, and relationships following industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies in the CSDM and CMDB.
- Provide guidance and training to IT teams on CSDM and CMDB concepts and best practices.
- Integrate CSDM and CMDB with third-party tools and systems for a comprehensive IT landscape view.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow platform advancements and recommend optimizations for CSDM and CMDB.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance IT service delivery and support organizational goals.
**Mandatory Skill Sets:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional CIS certifications in Service Mapping or Asset Management preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and ITIL certification.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across all organizational levels.
- Experience in data modeling, schema design, and relational databases is desirable.
