Audio-Visual Technician
Springfield, VA

The Audio-Visual Technician shall:
- Demonstrate experience in following schematics for installation of VTC systems.
- Demonstrate ability in reading and interpreting system installation drawings and design packages, and applying that knowledge to the cabling installation, and promoting a safe work environment and implementing safe work practices.
- Be proficient in the proper handling, installation, of LC, MTRJ and SC connector termination, and testing of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems
- Be proficient in the installation of various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inches.
- Possess effective communication skills for coordinating installation work with office personnel and customers.
- 1 years of experience with Crestron systems, and or a Crestron certification required.
The required qualifications and skills include the following:
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience in the installation of VTC systems.
- A TS security clearance is required with the ability to obtain an SCI
