Summary

Our client is is a leading application Engineering Consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. metro region specializing in Management Services, Technology Solutions and Facilities Services. They partner with and assist Federal, State and local government agencies; private sector Energy Services Companies (ESCOs); and Commercial entities in the design and implementation of their various Engineering and Technology related projects. Additionally, they are able to leverage an engineering team with proven technology industry experience that resulted in multi-million-dollar contracts within federal government, state & local government clients!

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Systems & QA Analyst to join their team to support the VITA contract! A systems analyst is required to provide technical analysis, user documentation, and coordinate changes for legacy .NET applications as well as for new enterprise solutions. This individual will work with the current development team to quickly learn VITA’s base system to support and expand it.

• Provide technical analysis, user documentation, and coordinate changes for legacy .NET applications and new enterprise solutions
• Work with the current development team to quickly learn and support VITA’s base system
• Interact with agency customers daily to provide guidance on the usage and development of .NET applications
• Serve as the technical expert in implementation, maintenance, and support
• Facilitate and promote the use of applications to improve operational efficiencies and customer service at VITA
• Specify and design technical solutions and develop solutions in cooperation with the customer
• Present ideas clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal communication
• Work well on a team, share and collaborate on projects, and help develop technical and strategy items
• Conduct business in a professional manner and interact with all levels of organizations, partners, and vendors
• Plan and organize work activities, prioritize effectively, and use time efficiently
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced organization
• Listen to business user needs, translate them into business and technical requirements, and implement solutions using MS Dynamics CRM, xRM, COTS packages, or .NET
• Decompose business requirements into testable system requirements for development and testing purposes

Requirements

• 5 years of experience working with business users to document requested changes and determine impact to IT applications
• 5 years of experience decomposing business requirements into discrete parts for IT application development and testing
• 5 years of experience planning and monitoring application development changes through the full systems development life cycle
• 3 years of experience collaboratively developing and delivering solutions with both onsite and remote teams
• 3 years of experience communicating and coordinating with internal business customers and developers to determine software requirements and system impacts
• 2 years of experience working with end users with high-level training and troubleshooting and overall application adoption

Preferred Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
• Public sector background/experience
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Apps Portals) and Azure
• Experience with testing scripts and system testing
• Experience with business processes and/or workflows
• Experience with use cases and logical data flows
• Experience working with diversified stakeholders and understanding project needs
