Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Performing necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup.
- Operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
- Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
- Inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments when necessary to complete tasks accurately and timely.
- Communicating with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
- Knowledge of Production Procedures.
- Ability to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals.
- Ability to read depth micrometer and calipers or willingness to learn.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Teamwork.
- Physical Stamina and Strength.
- Ability to Handle Heavy Equipment.
- Ability to Work Independently.
- Ability to Multitask.
- Experience as a machine operator, crane operator, and/or quality control is a plus.
