With Prelude’s Clinical Data Management (CDMS) platform, complex research is made easy through the industry’s most user-friendly, flexible eClinical technology platform, enabling easy, adaptable trials and automating 90% of clinical data management work.

Description

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be pivotal in positioning our platform within the life sciences industry. Your role will involve developing and executing marketing strategies that highlight the unique value of our products, drive customer engagement, and support sales initiatives. You will work closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our solutions meet market needs and effectively communicate their benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market positioning.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with Prelude’s current and target customer base. Create compelling narratives that highlight the benefits and unique features of our platform.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introductions and market penetration.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality marketing content including infographics, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and website copy. Ensure content is tailored to addresses specific challenges and needs.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively communicate the value of our products.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze feedback from customers and prospects to inform product development and marketing strategies. Use insights to refine messaging and identify areas for improvement.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive product adoption. Utilize digital marketing channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising, to reach target audiences.
  • Product Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning. Serve as a subject matter expert on the product and industry.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.

Requirements:

  • Must reside in Austin or be willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in marketing or life sciences are a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry and specifically in life sciences. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the life sciences sector, including key trends, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in creating and implementing marketing strategies, content creation, and campaign management. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities to conduct market research, gather insights, and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create persuasive and engaging content tailored to the life sciences audience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including product management, sales, and customer success. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
