Premier Dentistry of the Palm Beaches is Hiring a Dental Front Desk Receptionist Near Beach, FL

Dental Front Desk

Join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist and be part of a dynamic dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient service. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk while delivering excellent customer service to patients.

This position is located at our Boynton Beach location, which operates on the following schedule:

  • Mon/Tues/Wed - 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Thurs - 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday - Closed Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm (rotating Saturdays, 2 a month)

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Complete recalls/call backs
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance billing processes
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Collect payments
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and data security

Experience:

  • 2 years previous experience as a front desk, medical receptionist, or dental receptionist
  • Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar medical records systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems is a bonus

Job Type: part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
