Kids First Learning Center - Parma Heights is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education. Our mission is to be a nurturing environment for young children trusted by parents. We accomplish this by focusing on the needs of our students through age-appropriate educational activities in a fun, loving, and safe setting.
Compensation: $11-$13/hour, based on experience and education, *$1,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time hires*
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects functions of a class of children in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Treating each child with dignity and respect and interacting with each child every day
- Personally greeting all families and professionally providing them with daily information
- Implementing activities which will encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative and physical development
- Helping children learn to think creatively, to solve problems independently, to self-regulate their behavior, and to respect themselves and others
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program
Requirements:
- A high school diploma
- A warm and bubbly personality :)
- A passion for early childhood education
Compensation: $13 per hour, based on experience and education Required Shifts can be: 9:00-6:00
