The Project Manager is tasked with interpreting, organizing, executing, and overseeing engineering projects that pose unique challenges and significantly influence major programs.

This role requires a high level of expertise in managing complex engineering projects and leading teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct large and critical engineering projects or multiple smaller projects with complex features.
  • Supervise engineering and support personnel to ensure project goals are met.
  • Analyze project scope, client requirements, and proposals; organize work and establish procedures to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and monitor project design schedules to align with client and organizational timelines.
  • Oversee and manage client budgets and schedules to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Serve as both a team leader and client manager, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  • Engage in business development, proposal writing, and overall project management.
  • Manage and mentor less experienced engineers and technical support staff.
  • Conceptualize initial design approaches for major phases of large projects or take overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering projects that involve conventional practices as well as those with complex features, including conflicting design requirements.
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • 7 years of experience
