Role: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Mossville, IL
Full Time - Only USC
On Site Only
Shift: 7:30am – 4pm, minimal overtime anticipated 2 -4 hrs per week
Description
Support lab testing of electric drive components and systems – performance and durability testing.
Develop Test Plan, Coordinate DUT modifications, Instrument and Installation of DUT, Execute testing, Data analysis, Summarize results and conclusions, lead weekly update meetings, document findings, create presentations, troubleshoot issues with test stand, DUT, controls, etc.
Lab testing environment, typically spend 30% at desk, 70% in lab running test or working DUT prep.
Education & Experience Required: -
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering and 2-4 year experience
Technical Skills (Required) -
Previous testing experience, product development experience, demonstrated mechanical system troubleshooting skills
(Desired) - DEWESoft DAS experience, Canape experience
