Role: Project Manager - Medical Device

As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Product Transition Team Leader is responsible for building and leading a team dedicated to the successful transfer of new products from R&D and current TPM into a new GMP manufacturing environment. This role encompasses providing expert guidance on best practices for Process Design and Development, and applying these practices to Transfer and Production methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Building:
• Build and lead a product transition team.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team members.
• Manage resources (direct and matrix) assigned to projects.
• Process Design and Development:
• Provide guidance and direction on best practices.
• Apply best practices to Transfer and Production methods.
• Technical Product Support:
• Coordinate and lead activities related to new and existing products.
• Manage aspects of equipment and facilities validation activities.
• Project Management:
• Oversee and coordinate site Project Management activities.
• Ensure the smooth, seamless launch of new products, components, updated methods, and/or production scales.
• Cross-Functional Interaction:
• Engage with multiple divisions, functions, and levels of management, including at the VP level.

• Proven experience in product transition, process design, and development.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage resources and provide mentorship.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Effective communication skills for interaction across various levels of management and functions.
