Role: Technical Writer - Pharma

Location: Clayton, NC

Duration: Long Term on W2 - No C2C

Job Description

The Technical Writer will develop technical documents for departments like Utilities, Facilities, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) involved in manufacturing facility construction. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex technical information.

Responsibilities

  • Document Development: Create procedures, manuals, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Content Creation: Translate technical information from Utilities, Facilities, and EHS into clear content.
  • Document Review: Edit documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards.
  • Document Management: Maintain a centralized repository of technical documents.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with experts from various departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure documents meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Training Support: Develop training materials for employee onboarding and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in technical writing, ideally in manufacturing or construction.
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading technical information.
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to manage multiple projects.
