Premier Lifts is Hiring a Service Coordinator Near Hunt Valley, MD
Our Service Coordinator handles dozens of incoming calls per day, prepares service tickets then dispatches a technician to address the problem that was reported. Once the service call is complete, the Service Coordinator posts the ticket so it can be invoiced. If additional parts are needed the Service Coordinator researches them and prepares a quote for the customer, orders the necessary parts and schedules the repair once the parts are received.
Starting Salary: $45K - $55K DOQ
- Handles all incoming customer calls for service and maintenance
- Schedules all repairs and dispatches technicians
- Discusses parts needed to effect repairs with technician and customer
- Prepares customer quotes
- Researches and orders necessary parts to make repairs
- Creates and monitors all service tickets to ensure repairs are completed
- Maintains database of maintenance contracts and schedules maintenance per contract
- Responds to all customer questions and concerns regarding service or maintenance
- Interfaces with accounting to ensure all service tickets are invoiced
- Handles warranty claims and parts return to manufacturers
Skills required
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Highly computer literate with word, excel and databases
- Some Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment
- Able to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Must be very structured, well organized and administratively adept
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Ability to research parts
