- Produces high quality documentation as evidence by the following:
- Follow established standards of nursing practices to implement facility policies and procedures related to medication administration.
- Interpret existing policies and procedures related to medication administration to nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, residents, families and physicians.
- Provide care to residents following facility policies and procedures.
- Report residents' needs and concerns to a licensed nurse/Medication Tech.
- Assist new employees in following established facility policies and procedures.
- Initiate corrective action as necessary and/or seek assistance of a licensed nurse/Medication Tech.
- Participate in the development of an individualized plan of care of assigned residents.
- Review care plans and perform nursing care as outlined.
- Document in the nursing assistant notes the care and treatment provided to the resident and the resident's response or lack of response to care provided.
- Assure residents are given adequate assistance with personal and oral hygiene needs following facility's policies and procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as documented in the residents'.
- Assure residents have call lights at hand and answer call lights promptly.
- Listen to resident and family complaints and report problems to Charge Nurse/Resident Care Director.
- Respond to residents' call for assistance promptly.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.
- Takes steps necessary to produce excellent work in any task or job that is assigned.
