Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team. Being an excellent communicator is a vital skill for the treatment coordinator. Patients will have a better understanding of recommended treatment, allowing for well informed decisions. The treatment coordinator will oversee complete cycle of clinical diagnosis to a patient with a clear financial agreement to pay for treatment. As a member of the team, the assistant will be expected to assist with patient inquiries, insurance questions, and facilitate with general front office duties.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate treatment plans for patients, including scheduling appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits

- Communicate with patients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and address concerns

- Assist in obtaining necessary documentation and records for patient treatment

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with dental office protocols

- Collaborate with providers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care

- Manage insurance verification and pre-authorization processes

- Assist with billing and financial inquiries from patients

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met throughout their treatment journey

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dental/orthodontic office setting is preferred

- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
