ResponsibilitiesYour typical day may involve:

• Participating in interdisciplinary discussions and reviewing patient schedules and treatments
• Conducting evaluations for new admissions
• Reviewing potential discharges and coordinating floor programs
• Providing staff training and communicating patient progress
• Implementing programming such as wheelchair use, splinting, and adaptive equipment
• Communicating with families and facility staff regarding patient progress, updated goals, adaptive equipment, and changes in status
