Job Description

Surgical/Cosmetic Medical Assistant - Full Time wanted for prominent, well established, state-of-the-art aesthetic and vein treatment center. We are looking for someone with exceptional people skills who is comfortable managing patient care and discussing treatment packages, and who can also assist our award winning physician with venous, cosmetic and minimally invasive surgical duties. You must have a warm and friendly personality, be a loyal team player, possess an excellent eye for detail and be comfortable selling to patients (not by hard-sell, but by consultation, tailoring the right treatment plan to meet patient needs).

Experience & Qualifications:

• Currently or previously employed in a vein treatment or aesthetics medical practice
• Experience selling best possible aesthetic solution to meet patient’s desired solutions
• 2 years surgical/cosmetic office experience, plus chart and data management experience
• Excellent computer, digital photography and electronic medical record skills
• Be comfortable with use of Social Media

Job Responsibilities - Surgical Assistant/Medical Assistant:

• Assist physician with all aspects of patient care from start to finish
• Employ appropriate sterile technique with procedures, equipment and patient care
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
• Oversee patient's electronic medical record and before/after photography
• Direct pre- and post-treatment care
