About your new role:

As an Environmental Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction for the planning, implementation, and operation of the organization’s safety management program. This position will drive safety results across multiple business functions and geographies. In addition, you will be responsible for leading investigations of safety incidents, the analysis of root cause(s), supports/tracks, and the implementation of effective corrective actions. Conducting compliance audits for machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify potential safety and health concerns and hazards. As well as overseeing injury management and assisting Human Resources in worker compensation matters and OSHA logs and reporting.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of environmental, health, and safety experience. Manufacturing experience (Required).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environment regulations with the ability to develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive health and safety accident prevention programs.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local environmental and safety laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, DNR, etc.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
• Certification in EHS management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional -CSP, ISO Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
• This position will require occasional travel to various company facilities and job sites.
