Our company’s unique and innovative approaches to college counseling and career coaching are reshaping how students successfully apply to college and how professionals land their dream jobs.About The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a focus on inbound sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing and enabling our sales team to be successful in their deals and follow-ups, as well as handling all inbound inquiries.
This role requires being present in the office Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
  • Inbound Lead Management:
    • Respond promptly to all inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
    • Qualify leads and determine the appropriate next steps.
    • Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
    • Follow up with potential clients to ensure a smooth transition through the sales pipeline.
    • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with prospective clients, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to align inbound sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
    • Onboard new clients by partnering with the Program/coaching team to ensure seamless collaboration and communication regarding key client details.
    • Maintain a deep product and customer knowledge to effectively support prospects and clients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a Top 50 US university or Top 20 liberal arts college
  • Proven experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably with a focus on inbound sales.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills.
  • Strong presence on the phone with prospects and clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Workspace, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Formal admissions experience at an undergraduate or graduate institution and experience in academic mentoring / educational coaching a plus
  • Detailed knowledge of the U.S. college admissions process, familiarity with universities and colleges, and willingness to stay current with changes in the college admission process a plus
