Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a Contract Specialist to support a Federal government client.

As a Contracts Specialist, you will:

  • Solicit and recommend award for procurement actions.
  • Create and recommend for award Interagency Agreements.
  • Create and maintain contract files in accordance with FAR part 4. This includes creation and maintenance of electronic files and proper file storage.
  • Create, recommend for award, and administer high volume, low dollar value simplified acquisitions. Provides support for both pre-award and post-award functions.
  • Utilize best-in-class contracts to the maximum extent practicable. This includes NASA SEWP, GSA FSS, and other best-in-class alternatives.
  • Create FPDS reports for each procurement action.
  • Assist with responding to audit requests.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in conducting acquisition and contract specialist support activities and bachelor’s degree or an additional 3 years of related experience, for a total of Six (6) years, as a substitute to the bachelor’s degree.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
