Prescott Industries is a small business in Aubrey, TX. We are professional, agile and our goal is to be a leader in the wood door and frame industry.
We manufacture architectural wood and laminate doors, artisan hardwood doors for residential application, as well as wood door frames and components.

The CNC Operator will operate computerized equipment to form wood components and parts to facilitate the construction of wood doors and windows made to order specifications.
Responsibilities
Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
Run tests before start of operations.
Monitor machines when assembling products.
Inspect and measure finished product.
Inspect machinery at end of shift to identify parts needing repair.
Perform daily maintenance on machinery as needed.
Maintain equipment and supplies.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Keep the work area organized and clean.
Education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years CNC Operator experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good verbal communication skills.
Strong math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate highly technical machinery and hand tools.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, specification sheets, templates, and technical procedures.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of the use of the English and metric measuring system and measuring tools.
Able to work a flexible schedule including overtime, up to 10-hour shifts as needed.
Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
Physical Requirements ?
Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete.
Ability to climb stairs.
Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and frequent lifting of heavy objects.
Must be able to move and lift up to 100 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to push weights up to 500 pounds with a team.
Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
Location : Job may be based out of Aubrey or Denton.
