We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team at the Doubletree by Hilton Airport Hotel in San Antonio, TX. The Housekeeping Houseperson will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's public areas, including hallways.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the hotel's public areas, including hallways.
- Assist housekeeping staff with the delivery of linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms
- Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and public areas
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
