Portland Metro Area Start 7/23/2024: 5 Week Accelerated Program 3 weeks: Classes/Labs in SE Portland Classroom Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:00pm 2 Weeks: Clinicals at Local Prestige Care Center Monday - Friday 6:15am-2:30pm Graduation: August 21st, 2024 Start 7/27/2024: 9 Week Weekend Program 6 weeks: Classes/Labs in SE Portland Classroom Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm 3 Weeks: Clinicals at Local Prestige Care Center Monday - Friday 6:15am-2:30pm Graduation: October 23rd, 2024 Please apply online and go through the application and interview process to attend the orientation and class, as spaces are limited. The NA Training classes, labs and clinicals are not paid training. Once you graduate and start working shifts at the selected care center as a NA is when you will start getting paid. CNA wages noted above are the wage rage for a licensed CNA, once you pass your state board exam and receive your CNA license. They must possess patience, empathy and unwavering compassion for people. Practice and "hands-on" supervised training. After completion of the Nursing Assistant Class, you will be eligible for employment consideration to be hired as a Nursing Assistant, you must be able to provide legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States, employment references, and be at least 18 years of age. The primary responsibility of a student that is selected for the NA Class is to acquire the knowledge, skills and certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA) by participation in the facility's planned educational program. This program consists of classroom and clinical instructions. Upon completion of the NA program a student is prepared to take the state examination in order to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
