We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to work with the State of Michigan.

Programmer Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and document web applications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure code compliance with State of Michigan standards, including ADA compliance.
• Mitigate security risks and follow change management procedures.
• Conduct unit, string, and integrated testing; develop test plans and scripts.
• Create user manuals and provide training.

• Gather, document, and communicate clear, testable business requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand and document business processes and system functionality.
• Maintain project schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to project objectives.
• Work with UI/UX designers, tech leads, developers, and QA testers to ensure system requirements are met.
• Develop system security plans with the security team.

• Experience with customer requirements gathering, functional/technical design, and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio/Azure DevOps/C#/.NET/MVC/JavaScript.
• Experience with data access and manipulation, secure application development, and testing.

• ADO test plans.

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 2 days a week onsite in Dimondale, MI.
