Whatdoes the Van Driver - Skilled Nursing do?
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating,directing, planning and conducting the life enrichment and resident activityprograms. You will help our residents get to and from their appointments. You will get to drive our residents to various events and outings,being able to provide a quality life for those that stay with us.

In this job, everyday you will be...
1. Responsible for following the Prestige Caredress code, wearing a nametag at all times and identifies self to passengersroutinely, and carrying a working cell phone at all times.
2. Responsible for carrying a current StateDriver's License and know the location of insurance documentation, as well asfire extinguisher, road flares, emergency road equipment and cellular phone anddemonstrate the proper usage of this equipment.
3. Responsible for familiarity with transportationof disabled persons and adhering to the Prestige policies and proceduresregarding the transportation of resident in a safe manner including the use ofappropriate seating restraints.
4. Responsible for immediate notification to care centerleadership of any accident, damage, personal injury or behavioral incidentstaking place during any trip.
5. Responsible for adhering to all local or statemotor vehicle laws, rules and regulations.
6. Will greet residents, visitors, and staffcourteously, respecting dignity and confidentiality standards and promoteresident rights.
7. Responsible for completing the Prestige VehicleTrip Log at time of each trip and for completing a weekly Vehicle Inspectionform, with identified repairs or adjustments reported to the Executive Directorfor immediate resolution.
Education & Experienceyou need to qualify:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A valid, current driver's license in the state
  • Knowledgeable of the area streets and locations
  • Valid commercial Class B driver's license withPassenger Endorsement required for buildings with large bus or ability to immediately obtain one at offer. Buildings with passenger Vans (under 15 including driver) need a valid non-commercial drivers license
  • Submit to Company and DOT physical testing anddrug testing policies
  • Submit to requests to check status of Statedriving and licensing records at intervals determined by the company
