Job Title: Bookkeeper/Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operation including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee payroll processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations
- Develop and monitor budgets
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements
- Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management
- Coordinate with external auditors foe annual audits

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and/or controller experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software (Knowledge of Peachtree software particularly helpful)
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
