Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for our healthcare facility. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data while ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and maintain patient information, medical records, and other data into the health system's database systems.
• Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors.
• Verify and cross-reference data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather and input data from various sources.
• Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations and health system policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in data entry and data management.
• Perform other data-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry, data management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using data entry software and tools.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and data is a plus.
• Familiarity with data privacy and confidentiality regulations is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
