Human Resources Assistant - Permanent position for Non-Profit in Alpharetta, GA

Hybrid - 3 days onsite (T,W,TH) 2 days remote (M,F)

Salary Range : $40K - $45K 401K and contributions to Savings / Retirement Plans

This role provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, particularly assisting the Chief Human Resources Officer and the Senior Human Resource Managers.

It involves enhancing HR processes, supporting project management, and contributing to HR strategic efforts.

The HR Assistant will support the HR team by managing a variety of tasks such as documentation, scheduling, logistics, and reporting.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the HR department, facilitating smooth and efficient HR operations.

KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY / JOB DUTIES

JOB DUTIES

Administrative Support

  • Assist the Chief Human Resources Officer with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Aid Senior HR Managers in executing HR processes.
  • Manage documentation for all HR-related activities.

Project Management

  • Develop communication and project plans for HR programs.
  • Coordinate the HR response to NAMB Internal Audit, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain the HR calendar and coordinate the HR Operations Plan.

Financial and Contract Management

  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for HR-related expenses.
  • Manage contracts with LinkedIn, PI, Spark Hire, and providers of labor law posters, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Develop and advance reporting for the HR function across various areas such as compliance, training, compensation, and talent acquisition.
  • Schedule and prepare agendas for monthly team meetings, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR setting.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS- List special skills required to perform the job's essential responsibilities.

  • Quick learner with a high level of tech-savviness.
  • Prior Workday experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
