Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in beautiful Havertown, PA is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager.
· The RN Unit Manager assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.
· The RN Unit Manager ensures that reference material (i.e., PDR’S, regulations, professional standards of practice, etc.) maintained at the nurses’ stations is current.
· The Registered Nurse Unit Manager monitors the Facility’s QI, QM, and survey reports and provides the Director of Nursing with recommendations that will be helpful in eliminating problem areas.
· The Registered Nurse Unit Manager assists in obtaining staffing information that must be posted daily.
· The RN Unit Manager provides the Director of Nursing with information relative to the nursing needs of the resident and to the Nursing Department’s ability to meet those needs.
· The RN Unit Manager informs nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
