Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman/Service Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership/automotive vehicle repair, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. As a Shop Foreman/Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shop, coordinating service dispatch, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all service tasks. Service Advisors that want a change of pace are encouraged to apply.
**Key Responsibilities: **

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor and manage the progress of work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
**Minimum Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in a shop foreman, service dispatcher, or service advisor role within the automotive industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using dispatch and inventory management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

**Preferred Qualifications: **

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of CDK preferred
