We are seeking reliable and hardworking Material Handlers to join our team.
Job Overview:
As a material handler, you will be responsible for the production process by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, weigh and blend materials.
- Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.)
- Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean.
- Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat.
- Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines.
- Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork.
- Gather lot control information for Quality Control.
- Help to monitor inventory levels and advise supervision of low volumes.
- Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc.)
- Unload bulk resin trailers.
- Keep work area clean and maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation.
- Maintains safety in the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a related role preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Full-Time, Direct Hire Position
- Competitive Salary ($19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience)
- Bonus $500.00 for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year of employment!
