We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team.

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of our products to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will also train and assist new associates in developing require skills to perform their assigned tasks. Also, you will be responsible for supporting QA Inspectors and Inspector Packers by doing periodic quality checks, general housekeeping, internal auditing, enforcing Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices, and dispositioning product when defects are found.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide training, primarily but not limited to classroom training, to designated new hires to ensure they have the tools to successfully perform the functions of the role. Onboarding and training includes but not limited to reviewing all required Quality documents, giving new hires a tour of the Plant, and training in GMP, reading a work order and pack sheet, QDF, making, storing, sealing and stacking boxes, packing techniques, labeling, basic defect recognition, and safety.
• Receive customer complaint samples and perform preliminary evaluation and data gathering to support the determination of root cause and corrective actions.
• Perform PPAPs for all new/modified tooling and coordinate with Corporate to publish results.
• Facilitate Pre-shift QA Inspector meetings to discuss any quality alerts that results from the previous shift.
• Periodic quality checks for defect detection during the production run.
• Receive, evaluate and ship customer product samples and pre delivery samples.
• Effectively perform all duties of a QA Inspector and train new QA Inspectors when hired.
• Effectively serve as backup for the Quality Technician where duties can include, but are not limited to production floor documentation preparation, product release, CoC and CoA creation, batch file review and maintenance, etc.
• Serve as primary backup for the Quality Supervisor and QAs when absent or on vacation.
• Follows Pretium's standards for Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production in an efficient and safe manner; must wear PPE properly, conduct him/herself in a safe manner and follow safety protocols, and ensure all GMP/Housekeeping in maintained in assigned area.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

You'll Be A Great Fit If:

• You have a High School diploma or equivalent; (College Degree preferred).
• You have proven experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment (plant).
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and techniques.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in plastics or packaging industry preferred.
