Pretty Soul Kitchen in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one prep cook to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 7365 W Sahara Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Requirements and Must-Haves:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role.
- References: Provide contacts from previous job experiences to verify your skills and work ethic.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
- Initiative: Must be a self-starter, proactive in identifying tasks and ensuring completion.
- Shift: Required early morning shifts to ensure timely preparation for our kitchen operations.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, with a strong commitment to meeting job expectations and responsibilities.
