Must-Have Skills

1.Writing and editing experience - publication or company (title: communications, writer, copywriter, editor, speechwriter, etc.)

2.Ability to distill complex issues and topics into concise and approachable language

3.Previous experience with Cross functional communication and partnerships

4.2-4 years of experience is must.

Degrees/Certifications Required:

Bachelors Degree required (English, journalism, communication , etc.)

Nice-to-have Skills

1.Experience with Wordpress or other content management systems

2.Experience in tech

Summary:

Responsible for writing and editing news articles and other digital content. Comfortable distilling complex issues and topics into concise and approachable language.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write and edit blog posts to disseminate news and information to media, policy elites, and consumers.

• Help teams prepare and publish posts on the company newsroom, including product announcements, policy updates, and reactive statements.

• Develop ideas for proactive content and storytelling.

• Work closely with subject matter experts across the company to gather information and get approval for public release.

• Develop concepts and copy that resonate with the target audience.

• Partner with creative team to develop complementary visual assets.

• Contribute to distribution strategy, including advising on and drafting social media posts.
