My name is Bill Stevens and I have a new contract to hire Senior Microsoft Office365 Email Engineer opportunity available for a major firm with offices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Holmdel, New Jersey that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.

This position pays $75.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis or $85.00 per hour on a Corp basis. The Corp rate is for independent contractors only and not third-party firms. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding companies.

Senior Microsoft 365 Email Engineer / Senior Collaboration Engineer

As a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer / Collaboration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration capabilities.

Continuous self-learner, subject matter expert for Microsoft 365

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or significant relevant experience

5 years of experience, preferably within a large financial services enterprise or similar size organization

Microsoft certifications are desired only MS-900, MS-700, MS-721, MS-102

Expert-level experience with Microsoft 365:

Required: Administration of Outlook, Exchange Online, Exchange Server, Teams, SharePoint Online Servers

Power Automate, OneDrive, Viva Engage (Yammer), Stream, PowerShell scripting, advanced troubleshooting diagnostics.

Desired Skills: Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio, Project, Whiteboard, To Do, Planner, Lists, Viva Insights, Power Apps, Loop, Azure.

Intermediate-level experience with Proofpoint E-mail Protection including Administration, Routing, Allow/Block List, Encryption, DLP, Send Securely, Secure Portal, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, delivery troubleshooting, incident response.

Knowledge of other complimentary collaboration applications such as: Zoom, Hearsay Relate, Poppulo, Monday, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, SharePoint Framework development.

Strong knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL, preferably using Service Now including Incidents, Tasks, Problems, Knowledge, CMDB, Reporting, Dashboards. Proven ability to manage support and request tickets within SLAs, and drive Microsoft support cases to closure.

Knowledge of Project Management, preferably using SAFe, Jira, and Confluence. Proven ability to complete projects reliably and with quality.

Knowledge of Networking and Security - DNS, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD) including conditional access policies, certificates, firewalls, proxies, cloud access security brokers (CASB), single sign on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP) and identity and access management (IAM).

Knowledge of Endpoints, Servers, and Cloud – Devices, operating systems, browsers, Intune, System Center, Nexthink, Amazon AWS, Azure.

Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent support for Collaboration capabilities to achieve service level agreements. Participation in the team on-call support rotation is required.

Design, build, test, and deploy new Collaboration capabilities to achieve strategic goals and key deliverables reliably and with quality. Current goals are focused on AI, Automation, Application Integration, and Security/Compliance.

Reporting Relationships:

As our Senior Microsoft 365 Email Engineer / Collaboration Engineer, you will report to the firms Head of Collaboration Technology, who reports to the Head of Corporate Technology.
