Senior Payroll Analyst

Paying employees accurately, timely and in compliance with labor laws is a top priority at Priceline. You will be responsible for the preparation and processing of bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls in the US, Mexico and Germany.
You will ensure payrolls are processed on time and with accuracy. Audits employees pay records. Serves as liaison to employees and third-party payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processes that reflects company specific pay policies.
Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, government regulations, withholding exemptions, benefits, etc.
and ensures appropriate deductions are implemented and calculated correctly in payroll systems. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and international payroll requirements, and stay current with changes in the law.
You will also document payroll processes and procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement. Serves as back up for other payroll staff.
In this role you will get to :
Manage payroll change processing - annual increases, retro pay, commission, bonuses, benefit deductions, location moves, tax changes, new hires and terminations.
Audits payroll and benefits data in accordance with SOC1 controls.
Runs integration files from Workday to ADP and reviews for errors.
Partners with the P&C Team to ensure Payroll data flows timely and correctly to payroll via integration interface feeds to Payroll.
Researches and analyzes discrepancies and processes appropriate corrections.
Administers timesheet system and reviews timesheets for days / hours worked, calculates and records salary adjustments as necessary.
Is timesheet SME and advises employees and managers on time entry and approval processes.
Applies garnishment deduction orders.
Prepares supplemental payrolls as required.
Researches and gathers required documents to set up required tax accounts in new states where companies operate. Researches payroll tax payments and data discrepancies with federal, state and local agencies, and works with tax agencies as well as internal staff for resolution.
Prepares and submits tax payments not handled by payroll vendors.
Creates, verifies and distributes various payroll and benefits reports post payroll processing, including ad hoc reporting as requested.
Responds to employee and manager inquiries timely.
Who you are :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Accounting
5 years' experience in processing payroll for multiple payroll entities, including time and attendance administration and report writing capabilities.
Experience with international payroll is a plus.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, Workday, Google Docs, and advanced Excel (i.e. V-lookup)
Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll tax laws
Good understanding of benefits as related to payroll processing.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought / required.
In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and / or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000.
