Senior Manager, Software Engineering Product Innovation (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, Washington, D.C. Help build software and design data platforms, manage large volumes of client data, develop compliance procedures for data management, and continually research new technologies to drive innovation and sustainable change. Work with cloud solution engineering and automation, with a focus on applications and data. Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations. Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations. Coach and supervise teams. Maintain client relationships.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following: 

• Designing and developing large scale distributed data processing systems and application or large-scale internet systems utilizing Java, Scala, Python, or JavaScript;
• Developing and maintaining Knative, Docker and Kubernetes deployments using yamls, HELM or Kube-operators;
• Working with Agile Methodologies and developing code using object-oriented design, implementation and maturation; and
• Creating Web User Interface (UI) with use of recent javascript libraries like HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
